In 1971, in Kirkland, Washington, Garry Price and Doug Price; 'brothers' decided to form a business together. They were both interested in cars growing up, so they decided to open a repair shop. It's hard to believe that, years later, this small venture would turn into a Kirkland institution.
In 1999 Garry bought out his brother Doug. Garry's son "Dougie" had been working at the shop and gas station since he was 5 years old. At that time Garry noticed that Dougie was exceptional with the customers and really enjoyed working in the front of the shop. So since 2000 "Dougie" ran the office while the "Old Man" Garry ran the shop.
Price Brothers' Garage has been open now for 45 years. The work done in our shop is well documented, and our staff doesn't stop until the job is fully completed. All of our employees wear their hearts on their sleeves when they come to work, our shortest term technician has been with us for 15 years. We won't even tell you how long the oldest technician has been around.
Price Brothers Garage has won numerous "Best in Kirkland" awards since 1971 – and we're proud of every single one. We've also received Angie's List "Super Service" award, which only adds to our shop's pedigree. The most impressive accomplishment from our shop however is our 7-year stretch of capturing AAA Top-Shop awards.
Tragically, "Dougie" Price passed away recently, leaving a hole in our organization that can never be filled. However, we know that "Dougie" would want us to keep working as hard as we can to satisfy Kirkland's automotive needs for years to come. We intend to preserve Doug's legacy through quality service and professionalism for every job that comes through our door.
